Placement & Employment

Who will employ me—your agency or the family?

All candidates placed through The Noble Nanny are employed directly by the family as W-2 household employees. We facilitate placements only and always clarify employment terms before a match is made.

How long until I’m matched with a family?

Once approved, placements typically occur within 2–6 weeks, depending on your experience, availability, and match criteria such as language skills or special-care expertise.

What types of roles are available?

We place candidates in a wide range of roles, including:

  • Full-time or part-time live-in/out nanny

  • Special-needs caregiver

  • Newborn Care Specialist (NCS)

  • Household manager

  • Personal assistant, housekeeper, or elder-care companion

Pay & Benefits

How will I get paid, and who determines rates?

Families set pay rates based on local standards, your experience, and the role’s complexity. Payment is made directly by the hiring family. The Noble Nanny does not process payroll or deduct from your wages—we facilitate placements only.

Are benefits like paid time off or insurance included?

Benefits vary by family. Many offer pro-rated vacation, holiday premiums, and sometimes healthcare stipends—especially for full-time or live-in roles. In today’s competitive market, paid time off is often standard, and overtime pay applies for hours beyond 40 per week.

Support & Growth

Will you help with ongoing training or certifications?

Yes. We support professional development in areas like early childhood education, newborn sleep training, special-needs caregiving, and continuing nanny credentials such as INA certification.

What if a job doesn’t work out?

If your placement ends within 60–90 days due to no fault of your own, we’ll help you find another position at no charge. We remain available to mediate and support as needed.

Are seasonal or travel nanny roles available?

Yes. We staff short-term, holiday, and travel assignments. Candidates with flexible schedules are often prioritized for urgent placements—sometimes arranged within 24–48 hours.
